A couple of things I have heard in the last week from my boys that made me smile...

From Ellis...

(showing his visiting buddies Annalise and Noah his map)

"You see, this is a map. Let me show you. You start...with Texas."

That's my boy! He knows the best place to start. :)

From Tate...

(looking at my varicose vein and spider stricken right leg, ugh...someday, it will be fixed, sigh)

Tate: Mommy, are these your colors? (pointing to the varying shades of purple and blue)

Me: Yes, those are my colors.

Tate: I looooooooovvvvvvveeeeeee your beautiful colors. I like your colorful pants!

Only my Tate could see beauty in something that is painful and less than appealing to see.

I LOVE my busy, rambunctious, curious, thoughtful boys!
