Although I still need to back up on some stories and pictures, I thought I would do a post on"the latest" aspects of Tate and EZ's lives...
Tate...
What a giggler! All you have to do is look at him and he giggles, it is so cute. He is a "fast crawler" now and pulling up on everything he can (including Kent's leg hair). Sometimes I think he will be walking any second. He loves loves loves to jump and is a big fan of the Jumperoo. He eats like a champ and especially enjoys anything with meat. We are working on the sippy cup, and he is sorta kinda getting the hang of it. He adores Ellis and crawls as fast as he can after him. One night, we thought we were feeding Tate too early because he wouldn't eat, so we let him down to play. A few minutes later, Ellis went and got Tate's food and the spoon, sat Tate down, and started feeding him. Tate opened right up and ate his dinner. It was a mess, but it was so sweet, Kent and I didn't have the heart to stop it. Tate's hair is a shade darker than Ellis', but it is curly which is darling. I think I'm going to have another giant footed boy- his feet are big and thick. He loves to be upside down and is still my little doll baby.
EZ...
What a joy he is! He is my little learner and loves to talk in complete sentences - "This is a Mommy", "This is a Tae-Tae", "This is a truck", and is still pretty loud. :) He loves numbers and counting, and he can count by himself to 40 (we add ten about every week lately). He knows most of his upper and lower case letters (he only misses V, calling it a Y), and the difference between his left and right hand and feet. He is going to Montessori again a few hours a week and LOVES it - he often talks about his friends there and names them all. His favorite CD right now is one that puts Scripture to music - he wants it playing if he is in his room. He is teaching Tate sign language, and it is so darling to see him showing him "more" and "all done". In fact, he wants Tate around him all the time - playing with him, in the car, everywhere...he always makes sure we have Tate with us. As crazy as it can be having kids a year apart, I see how it has shaped Ellis in many ways - he shares pretty easily, and is very gentle and caring with babies. It is really wonderful to see them palling around together - I know Tate is anxious to walk so he can move quicker! Ellis is still large and in charge, weighing in at 35 pounds and sporting an 8 extra wide shoe size. :)
Not a day goes by that Kent and I don't think about how thankful we are.
